When you live in a tropical country, summer never really ends. It can be hot and humid 24/7, but the good news is that you can go to the beach anytime! (We think the pros outweigh the cons, don’t ya think? *wink*)

Last November, we had a quick getaway to Cagbalete Island in Quezon. We heard that it is one of the best beaches in their province so we had high expectations and it did not disappoint.

Palm trees, white sand, crystal clear water--what’s not to love?

It took us around 4 hours to get to Mauban, and another 45min-1hr boat ride going to Cagbalete.

As soon as we arrived, we were greeted by one of the staff from Pansacola Beach Resort (where we stayed). We opted to walk going to the resort instead of paying for another boat ride.
