Oh, the city of longganisa and empanada! It was our first time in Ilocos and the 7-hour drive was worth it. Definitely one of the places in the Philippines that has a rich history and culture.
As soon as we arrived in Vigan, we made our way to our Airbnb house (which we will blog about soon). We chatted with the caretakers and explored the house for a bit then continued on with our Ilocos adventure.
There’s actually so much to see and do in Ilocos Sur and Ilocos Norte, but we only had 3 days to squeeze in everything. How we wish we could’ve extended our trip!
Here are some of the places we visited:
As mentioned earlier, there are more “must see” places in Ilocos such as Blue Lagoon, Kabigan Falls, Dos Hermanos Islands, Sand Dunes, etc. Since we weren’t able to visit these places, we definitely need to plan a trip back to Ilocos!
